Welcome to gooberSM's Dumping Tournament!!!!!
This is a charting tournament that I am hosting. It’s a little different from how previous charting contests have gone. While I still want everyone to put their best effort into their charts, the songs chosen for the tournament will be on the less serious side. A lot of goofy songs have been chosen to potentially be used. The tournament will happen as a 1v1 bracket type system. How many people participate will determine how huge the bracket will be and how many songs will be included. How it will go is two people will be given the same song, they then will have two weeks to finish a chart. Afterwards, they submit it and judges will play the file, give it a rating from 0-10, and write a little blurb about the file. Whoever gets the highest score will move upwards in the bracket, and repeat

First place and Second place have a choice between two prizes, whoever wins chooses first, and second place gets the other.

Making this announcement now. We have 16 participants as of this update, which is amazing! I’ve decided that January 1st 2026 at 11PM CST is when sign-ups will close and I’ll start on the bracket. Then once everything is set up, the tournament will officially start February 2nd 2026 is when the tournament will officially begin. If you’re seeing this message, and are interesting in participating, then make sure to use the sign-up form above to enter!
ANNOUNCEMENT TWO:
Since sign-ups will be closing soon, I will be making this important announcement. Once Sign-Ups are closed, you will NOT be able to quit out of the event unless of an emergency. Quitting out past Sign-Ups will result in disqualification as well as being barred from the next tournament I host. If you feel you cannot commit up to two months of your time, then please notify me so I can remove you from the pool, thank you!
ANNOUNCEMENT THREE:
The bracket has been made! If you are in the tournament, please do NOT reveal your anonymous charter name and do NOT reveal what round you are in. Round 1 will be very short so that we can ease into things, then everything really starts on round 2. Remember, the tournament officially begins on February 2nd!
