DashDash's Offset Routine

What if a specific chart is offset wrong?

Once your offset is configured, you may encounter charts which are still offsync from time to time. if this is the case you can resolve some problems by either:

  1. Temporarily changing your global offset
  2. Opening the song in Arrow Vortex and refreshing it

For global offset changing, you can press F6 twice, which enables Autosync Machine. From here, play the song to the audio and every 25 notes, the global offset will change to reflect your error. After the first or second pass, press the restart key (default ~) and confirm the global offset change. After completing the chart, you can revert the offset back to normal.

You can also properly fix the offset, assuming it isn’t a bpm issue, by opening Arrow Vortex and manually moving the offset. If you wish to do this, hover over the offsync chart in question and then press F3 + F8 + 0. This will take you directly to the directory the song data is stored in, which from there you can open and adjust the offset in AV. After saving, go back to the game and press Ctrl + Shift + R to reload the new data, and play with the new offset.
