Yes, you read the title correctly!
I’m hosting a competition for my most recent pack, which involves you setting your best scores on it!
Why should I join this competition?
- You get to play a highly technical pack, which took me 4 years to release!
- You get to play unique patterns, involving the usage of fakes and mines.
- You will get to experience my new charting, and its improvements since 2012.
- You may learn how to play and read more demanding charts.
- You might win money just by playing a pack.
All difficulties count.
Everyone is allowed to join, no matter your skill range!
What are the prizes?
- 1st place: $100 (or ~$73 USD.)
- 2nd place: $50 (or ~$36 USD.)
- 3rd place: $25 (or ~$18 USD.)
(The amount is in Canadian currency.)
(The amount in $USD may vary depending on the rate in October.)
How do we determine who wins?
Players that are in 9th place or higher will receive point(s) that depends on their position on the leaderboard, and which difficulties they play.
Not playing at the normal song speed, and using modifiers that invalidate your score, will give you no points.
The leaderboard points for each position are as followed:
- 1st place: 15 points
- 2nd place: 12 points
- 3rd place: 10 points
- 4th place: 8 points
- 5th place: 6 points
- 6th place: 4 points
- 7th place: 3 points
- 8th place: 2 points
- 9th place: 1 points
Depending on the difficulty you play, the points from your leaderboard position will be multiplied by the difficulty.
The multiplier from each difficulty is:
- Beginner: 1x, your points will not change.
- Easy: 1.2x
- Medium: 1.4x
- Hard: 1.5x
- Challenge: 1.7x
- Bodyless Version: 1.5x (Reduced, as it’s easier to read.)
- Challenge+: 2x
Bodyless difficulties do not contain any holds or special notes.
(You may find it when checking the chart information. If your theme can read SSC, the name of the edit chart should appear.)

Here is the important stuff you really need to know
-
All scores must be set in Etterna, and must be valid on the leaderboards.
-
You must not play on any rates whatsoever, or your score will be disqualified.
-
Some songs will have instrumental variants, with them sharing the same charts. Since they’re the same song and chart, they will not have separate leaderboards.
So when does it start?
Right now!
When is the deadline?
The deadline is at the 10th of October, at 11:59PM (23:59) / UTC-5.
How will scores be evaluated?
All the leaderboards of each chart from the files will be taken as a picture, then will be put into and calculated in a spreadsheet.
I’m used to doing big data management for my stuff, so it’s not a big deal, but is time consuming…
I will probably set a stream to see all the scores and announce the winners, and will confirm that during the month.
If you do not have the pack, no worries!
You can download the pack from Etterna, 1Fichier or PixelDrain.
Tips
- Every files contain a minimum of six difficulties. (Except Double Dark Past)
If you get 1st place on the easier difficulties for each file in the pack, you might beat a player that put all their effort exclusively on hard difficulties for each file.
