TL;DR: We’ve built a curated Etterna Minedodge Table that groups charts into six tiers based on how much the mines increase difficulty. Each chart has a note detailing the kind of pressure you’ll face. We welcome feedback on placements and suggestions for charts to add.

What is this
A practical practice roadmap for minedodge: six tiers from beginner to holy shit, sorted in ascending difficulty, each sheet is sorted by MSD so you can play within your comfortable range. Think: “How much do the mines raise the challenge if I can already hit the base patterns comfortably?”
What you’ll find
- Six tiers, each with a representative (bold entry) chart at the top.
- Per-chart notes, describing the behavior of the chart (e.g., sandwiches!
). - Simple shorthand for timing like
16@120→ 16th note away at 120 BPM. - MSD listed for reference; ordering within tiers is by MSD.
- A short pack list to quickly get started.
How to use it
- Pick your starting tier: If you’re new to mines, try Tier 0-1. Comfortable with mines? Tier 2-3.
- Play the bold entry first to get the “feel”, then work across the tier.
- Read the chart notes, they’ll tell you whether to expect tight sandwiches, swaps, etc.
- Rate changes: Downrates often ease minedodge by widening gaps; uprates can shrink the effective timing window and make dodging sharper.

Disclaimer and Notes
- This is a practice guide, the more it is refined, the better it will be.
- Mine difficulty is very player-dependent.
- We’ll iterate based on community feedback and scores.
