This is a new pack project that’s replacing the old EOPack. This pack aims to collect fun conventional simfiles created by users of the community. Quality standards here will be quite lax as a result, so come on and join the fun!
Pack Rules
-
Your files have to make sense in some way. Do not send me mindless gorilla smash chordjacks or charts that don’t follow the music.
-
Your files also have to be playable. Do not send me stuff that’s excessively difficult, unbalanced, spiky, or contain a segment that the primary difficulty is from that part.
-
Most importantly, your files have to be genuine. Do not send me low-effort, mediocre files that you made just for the hell of it. Send something that you are truly proud of making.
-
No dump/abstract charts. As mentioned before, this pack is focused on conventional/technically accurate simfiles. However, there are certain dump elements that may be allowed depending on the context of the song. In that case, shoot your shot.
-
No modcharts. This will be for a different special pack project! X-Mod/scroll gimmick charts are acceptable.
-
Max difficulty of charts should not go above 28 MSD. Avoid submitting charts that are above these difficulties unless you are really confident that they’re good.
-
No meme files (Unless they’re actually funny, I am the deciding factor on that… unlucky)
-
It is highly recommended to include graphics with your files. If you can’t include ones, or the quality is too low, graphics will be provided for you… the quality of which may be questionable

-
Max 3 files per individual. You can submit as many song charts as you want, but in order to diversify the charter rooster, only up to 3 of your best submissions will end up in the pack.
-
SM/SSC files only. No osu!, Quaver, or files from other rhythm games.
-
Deadline for submissions will be determined based on the amount of subs.
-
You cannot participate if you are currently banned from any part of EO. (Site / Forum / Discord)
These rules may seem a bit intimidating at first, but honestly, if you just send something that you find decent, then you have nothing to worry about.
Files passing the requirements above will be determined by me. After that, the way the pack will ultimately come together is up to you. So send over only your best files that you will be proud of showing to the community!
Submission Process
If you meet the above rules, then you are more than welcome to submit using this form link! Once your submission has been successfully entered, it will automatically appear in the main pack spreadsheet, where it will be awaiting review.
Review Process
Reviews will be posted in sets, with each set including up to 5 submissions. If you are in the server and include your Discord username in the submission form, you will be given a role for that set that will be pinged once it has been fully reviewed. If a set has fewer than five submissions after some time, I will review it early and new submissions will be placed in the next set.
Because of the potentially large number of submissions I’m gonna get, please don’t expect detailed feedback on your chart. I will mainly review submissions on a Yes/No basis with little to none to say about a chart. This helps me looking at submissions faster and organize other things in the pack much quicker. In many cases, a charter does not need that feedback if they know what they were going for. For more novice charters, if you have a chart that’s been rejected, I can try my best to explain why if requested, but it is not a guarantee.
There are four statuses used for submissions: Passed, Conditional, Rejected, and Complete.
Passed means the submission is acceptable and is currently included in the pack. These submissions are then shared with the pack participants. The participants can be judges, playtesters, or anyone else involved in the pack’s development (which is you!). Their feedback and evaluation will carry weight in my final decision of keeping these files or not in the pack once it’s finalized.
Conditional is used for submissions that have issues but have the potential to pass once fixed. It can be for any reason that I deem important to address such as layering mistakes, unclear patterning/approach, bad song audio/metadata, etc. If the revisions are not satisfactory to me, then the submission can also end up in Rejected.
Rejected means the submission unfortunately did not pass the requirements for what I am looking to include in the pack. Usually, rejected submissions cannot be resubmitted again unless the file has undergone a significant overhaul. The Rejected status may also apply to files that initially passed but were ultimately not included in the final pack’s song list.
Complete means that the submission is finalized and is ready to be locked into the pack. This is the final step to fully accepting the file into the pack!
Contribution
Beyond just submitting files, you’re welcome to contribute to the pack in other ways as well. You can help by playtesting and providing feedback on approved charts, create GFX sets to charts that you like, make CDtitles, and other things that support the community effort needed to complete the pack faster and together.
More formally, I’m looking for playtesters, graphic designers, and anyone else who would like to contribute their skills to help me finish the pack more efficiently. If you’re interested in becoming an official contributor, feel free to contact me.
