I recently got my hands on a new laptop and copied my files from my arch (btw) desektop, but when i go to run the game i get the error
➜ Etterna . ./Etterna
./Etterna:1: parse error near `)'
i’m fairly certain i’m just missing a library. anyone know how to fix?
What are you running in the terminal?
i go to the directory with the game and do . ./etterna
Yeah, I think that’s because it’s trying to assume it’s a script when running . ./etterna vs ./etterna.
worked! i feel silly now…
i tried ./etterna and it literally told me what library i was missing (it was libGLU) so i installed glu (xbps-install glu) and everything works perfectly now
