Hi, I just made an account and didn’t realize I made a typo in my username until after I registered.

Is there a way to change my username somehow? If I need to send this to a specific support, where to?

no. i was kind of in a rush when i wrote this so i forgot to explain why we would have to delete the account and also forgot that we dont have to delete account to change a user name. but it’s done now. it takes just a couple minutes to reupload account from ingame after logging in.

typically name changes are done on a rare basis for the purpose of genuine identity change. im willing to randomly make exceptions. because i can.

Hi, I wanna change my username too… I want it to be “Naidez”, the change is because almost everywhere for years I used “Naidez” as a username, but here on etterna I had the name “Julieta” for too long because I didn’t knew how to change it, thanks.

if you had the name for years then why did you sign up with a different name just a few months ago?

Because it was just a name I was using for a while and I thought I could change it easily, so I didn’t really think much about it. In osu I’ve had that name “Naidez” since 2020 and never changed it. Anyway, sorry for the bother. it’s not that urgent, so if it’s a pain to change it don’t worry. Thanks for replying.

In general, username changes can be done via a request to a site admin. Usually it’s only done if you have a very good reason for it. For anyone else who asked in this thread, make your own thread for it or ask in #site-support on the Discord server.
