[macOS] Unable to do anything on Etterna + Several instances of crashing

Hi! I initially had the issue that my Etterna was damaged and couldn’t be opened. I followed another support ticket that had this issue and got that fixed (reference: Etterna is damaged and can't be opened. Error on mac).

Great. I now have another issue where I can’t click anything on Etterna. I’m just stuck on the menu screen without being able to proceed, it seems that my clicks aren’t registering.

Also found out 2 different instances that crash Etterna

1: If I double click on the Etterna window (to expand the window), obviously not on full screen, it crashes.

2: If I exit full screen, the game crashes. I can enter full screen with no issues but can’t exit it without crashing.

dont fullscreen the game on mac. if stuck in fullscreen, find Preferences.ini in the save folder in the install folder and just delete it.

Sounds good. What do I do about my clicking issue then? I’m still unable to go to chart selection.

it is possible that only the mouse does not work. the game is still playable in that case if you have access to the enter button on the keyboard.

there are workarounds depending on the specific macos version, maybe
