If you’re not interested in experiencing one of the most important aspects of this pack as intended, you can download it directly here.
Welcome to World of Corruption — a pack featuring 80 simfiles with over 100 difficulties, averaging around 20 MSD. You’ll explore a wide range of genres including experimental electronic, jazz fusion, hardcore, atmospheric, and game remixes.
This pack includes 25 charts from me, and is the result of contributions from 30 different stepartists, each bringing their own unique style and perspective. Together, these charts form a masterful, immersive, technical experience in Etterna.
For full details about the pack including the complete song list, stepartist credits, and instructions on how to play the pack as intended, everything is available on the official page linked above.
Special Thanks
To Deamerai – Without you, this pack wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you for helping me get this project off the ground and for being my co-organizer. You were instrumental through every step of the process.
To Mollomomo – Thank you for creating the graphic sets in this pack. From the beginning, I had a clear vision for the direction I wanted to take visually, and you helped bring that to life. I truly appreciate your patience and dedication.
To jole – Thank you for designing the website that ties everything together. I’m still in awe that we pulled it off — I still get chills scrolling through it. This project wouldn’t be what it is without your work.
To Windoze – For not only being one of my best friends online, but recently in-person as well. We can throw around ideas endlessly, and you’ve always been there during this project to help answer all the random thoughts I had. Thanks for always being around.
To Scintill – Thank you for being the best kind of mentor, even if indirectly. Our deep dives into technical charting and theory are some of my favorite conversations. I love exploring wild ideas with you. Stay crazy.
To my partner – Thank you for supporting and grounding me throughout the entirety of this project. You’ve been there during the high-stress moments, making everything more manageable. (She also puts up with my extremely loud keytaps, how cool).
To poco0317 – Your continued work on Etterna has made this all possible. Without your efforts, many of us wouldn’t have this creative outlet. We appreciate you more than we tell you — thank you for everything you do.
To theropfather – Thank you for building this website community and continuing to develop its backbone. You created something we’ve all come to love, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that the connections we’ve made here are deeply valuable.
To everyone who submitted a chart – Even if your chart didn’t make the final cut, thank you. Over the lifetime of this project, over 400 charts were considered. With only 80 spots, choosing was incredibly difficult, and every submission played a part in shaping this.
To all the playtesters – Your feedback mattered more than you probably realize. Every score, every comment, and every bit of input influenced the direction of this project. Thank you for being a part of it.
Sentiments
This project began over five years ago, and in that time, everything has changed. I’ve grown as a charter, as a person, as a professional, and as a partner. Looking back, it’s hard to believe just how different I am now compared to who I was when this all started. And in many ways, this pack has evolved alongside me. It’s not the same pack I set out to make… it’s something more.
During those five years, I graduated college. I met the person I want to spend my life with. I launched my career as a developer, moved across the country, worked two full-time jobs, and maintained a social life; through it all, I kept coming back to this. To this. This project. This creation. And now, standing at the end of that long road, I can say that this pack means more to me than anything else I’ve ever made.
Saying that I feel emotional about it doesn’t even come close to capturing it. This project has grown with me. It’s seen me through every high and low, and in that time, it’s become more than a collection of charts. It’s a reflection of who I am. A timestamp of every version of me that existed along the way. A piece of my identity. Permanent, undeniable, and deeply personal.
Charting isn’t just a hobby for me. It’s how I express myself. It’s how I process things I don’t always have the words for. Each note, each pattern, each nuance–it’s a part of me. And my greatest hope is that, as you play these charts, you’ll feel what I felt when creating them. That maybe, even just for a moment, you’ll understand me a little better.
Please enjoy them. And play them with the same care I poured into every detail.
