I’ve always kept every file I’ve ever acquired since I started playing around 2003 or so, and it seems the ones I have from around 2003-2010 may have been lost to the internet. These are files mostly from when Bemanistyle and other DDR/Stepmania fan websites hosted Stepmania simfiles.
Knowledge of who made most of the files has been lost, since back then most people didn’t bother with CD Titles or marking the files in any way. However files from a few notable people like Anobody, DukAmok, HST, Izzy, IzzySM, MacGravel, NVLM, Patashu, Puppet, Scylax, Torrent, and some others are included which don’t appear to be in any other packs. This was verified by checking if they were ranked or in Originals packs, but there’s probably a few duplicates if you have every Etterna pack of old files.
MSD Range for the files ranges mostly from 10-18 MSD. There’s a few random 20-69.91 MSD files, since around 2003 when Archowl’s Stepmania forum was popular people would like to compete for the ‘hardest file ever’. Though funnily enough, the top players now can probably AA some of the files that were intended to be impossible.
