Video backgrounds not working on Linux

I am in the process of switching from Windows to Linux (specifically CachyOS at the moment) on my gaming rig, and so far Etterna has been working fine, except for video backgrounds. Static image backgrounds seem to work just fine, but any time there is a video, I just see a black background. Not sure if there is a setting I missed, or some codec I don’t yet have. Either way, guidance would be appreciated.

Known bug which probably won’t be solved without external help from another contributor. If you really need BG videos, the only immediate solution is to run Etterna’s Windows binary under WINE.
